Prospective Students

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is committed to enrolling students from groups underrepresented in graduate study. Through the Office of Diversity and Minority Affairs (ODMA), our Association receives support to offer programming for the thriving LGBTQ+ community at the Graduate School. With over one hundred members, we are among the largest LGBTQ+ student groups at Harvard, representing our queer community at the largest of the twelve graduate schools of the University.

Each year, we host dozens of events, including happy hours, mixers, end-of-year celebrations, study breaks, movie nights, and outings in the greater Boston area. We also provide professional and academic support for our members, in coordination with the Office of Career Services and other resources at Harvard. Lastly, we are dedicated to being outspoken in our advocacy for LGBTQ+ students at GSAS and to expressing solidarity with other student associations that promote diversity and inclusivity, both at Harvard and beyond.

As queer graduate students, we are fortunate to study at an institution that supports us both as scholars and as individuals. We are committed to using that privilege to advocate for others, and to continually build a better, more inclusive Harvard. We hope you’ll join us at Harvard and in our mission of building a resilient community of LGBTQ+ students at GSAS.
